About Us

Graybeale Construction is a General Contractor that specializes in Retail Construction. We build convenience stores (Wawa, Sheetz, etc.), Car Washes, Starbuck’s, and tenant-improvements.


The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee all aspects of our commercial construction projects, from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships with Owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and execute project plans.
  • Manage the project budget and schedule, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Secure all necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.
  • Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
  • Manage schedules, submittals, shop drawings, subcontractors, suppliers, and coordinate with utility companies to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, highlighting potential issues and proposing solutions.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining project quality.
  • Manage project closeout procedures, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
