Job Description

Manufacturing Technician: Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments. Survey Tip: Technicians involved primarily with equipment maintenance should be matched to the Test Equipment Maintenance Technician (7311-7315) for semiconductor companies or Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician (7301-7305) for all other industries.

To qualify for this position, candidates must be able to furnish proof that they are authorized to work in the country they are applying on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
