At Allied Universal, an Armed Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As an Armed Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.Responsibilities:Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalismConduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified informationGreet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit pointsFollow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnelRespond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarmsAct as a first responder in emergency situationsQualifications (Must Have):Active California guard cardActive DoD clearanceHigh school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experienceMust possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearanceLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentMust possess one or more of the following:Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared sitePrior military experienceMinimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional customer service skillsIntermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sitesPreferred Qualifications (Nice To Have):Prior law enforcement or armed security experienceAssociate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related fieldBenefits:Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positionsSchedules that fit with your personal life goalsOngoing paid training programs and career growth opportunitiesEmployee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues and much more...Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
