Position Details:

Project : Sr. Frontend Developer (Angular)

Location: Charlotte, NC ( 3 days a week hybrid)

Duration: 12+ months of Contract with Possible extension

Pay rate: $62-$65/hr on w2

Position Summary:

  • We are looking for a seasoned developer with extensive hands-on experience in Angular or similar UI frameworks, paired with a background in Hadoop backend systems. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of overall UI development experience.

Primary Skill:

  • AngularJS

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Angular or related UI frameworks and a minimum of 7 years in UI development.
  • Proficient in web application development using advanced HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of the banking domain, preferably in areas like Credit Risk, Global Markets, Financial Risk, or Treasury.
  • Bonus skills: Experience with Ag-Grid, HighchartJS, and NgRx.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable solutions using efficient design patterns.
  • Handle non-functional requirements such as performance, throughput, and SLAs.
  • Apply strong UX design principles and aesthetic capabilities.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Understand and work with large datasets, data fetching using HTTP, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Identify areas for improvement within applications and implement enhancements.
  • Adapt to team requirements flexibly.
  • Ensure high quality in all deliverables.
  • Participate in mandatory training and cross-functional team activities.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and a proactive approach to acquiring domain knowledge.
  • Work effectively in a matrix organization with teams in India and the USA.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education: B.E/B.Tech/MCA
  • Experience: 7+ years
  • Essential skills: Angular, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3

Must-Have Skills:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Angular.
  • Strong understanding of design patterns.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
