Open to someone with internship experience.
The Application Engineer will provide technical support to sales, marketing and service for applications dealing with complex knowledge of CNC functionality, performance and operating system.

Responsibilities:
  • Create a cutting time estimate based on prints and/or solid models of finished parts
  • Create cutting demonstrations for 3- and 5-axis mills and multi-axis lathes
  • Conduct milling and lathe programming and operator training classes for controls
  • Customer support for troubleshooting applications problems and programming
  • Create training videos and information that help promote new software and features
Requirements:
  • Two or Four year technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Machine tool applications experience with CNC mills
  • Read/decipher blueprints
  • Experience with CAD/CAM, work-holding concepts and cutting tool selection and technology
  • Experience with 5-axis mills and multi-axis lathes a plus
