*ABOUT OUR UNIT/AREA*:

Nurses work as part of a team of staff who support the providers within the practice. This includes a detailed intake of patient’s medical and surgical information, obtaining vital signs, prescription management, ordering diagnostic tests, medication administration, active listening, effective written and verbal communication, and other office-based procedures that may include EKG’s, PFT’s and point of care laboratory testing.

*JOB SUMMARY:*

· Delivers nursing care to patients as ordered by the physician/provider or practice clinical supervisor.

· Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties.

*JOB REQUIREMENTS:*

· Required: Current and valid Tennessee license as a licensed practical nurse or CCMA

· Preferred: One (1) year of clinical nursing experience
