Leasing AgentAs a Leasing Professional, you are responsible for providing current and prospective residents with the best possible customer service to retain residents and lease apartments. Work closely with the marketing team to market property, manage social media and other marketing platforms.Essential Qualifications:Must have Tax Credit experienceTax Credit experience and strong knowledge of the certification processesHave worked on an apartment communityExperience or interest in working with older adultsMaturity, friendliness, and enjoyment in working with peopleSkills in nurturing and organizing similar to those in a domestic householdExperience working with Rent Roll ProgramTraining/Experience as an Administrative Assistant/Marketing AssistantCPR Certification and First Aid CertificationMust submit to a background check and be in good standing with no criminal convictionsAbility to lift and transfer residents and assist in their evacuation in an emergencyAbility to follow oral and written instructionsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administration, other employees, residents, families, the public, and other agenciesAbility to stand and move intermittently throughout the entire shift. Approximately 7.5 hours a day.Must be able to push, pull, move, or lift a minimum of 30 lbs. to a minimum height of 4 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum of 100 feet.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Complete all necessary filing and paperwork associated with Tax Credit requirements and tax creditsAdhere to and carry out all policies and proceduresAssist staff in providing and coordinating services to residents, families, and guestsAssist residents and staff in solving problemsPrepare correspondence and other forms/documents needed for daily operations and marketingOrganize office functions and flow of communicationDuplicate and distribute informationCompose and edit written documents to ensure correct spelling and grammarMaintain office suppliesCreate and maintain an environment for residents, families, and guests that is customer friendly and that values and respects the uniqueness of each individualConduct tours as neededAssist residents with mail as neededOrganize and compile reports and data required for meetingsInitiate the inquiry processReport concerns about residents to supervisor and coworkersRespond to resident emergencies; provide first-aid assistance and notify nursing staffReport all accidents/incidents as established by department/facility policies. Fill out and file reports as directedAssists as directed in the admission, transfer, and discharge of residentsAssist with budgetingAssist in outside marketingSupport and practice the philosophy and code of ethics of the facility, abiding by the policies and procedures of the facilityFollow established infection control, standard precautions, safety and HACCP policies and procedures when performing daily tasksPractice safety when working with equipment. This position may be eligible to receive discretionary and/or performance-based bonuses on a spot or annual basis, which are variable depending on individual merit/performance, budgetary limitations, company performance, and other job-related factors. This non-exempt role will be eligible for overtime for all hours worked in excess of 40 per week.
