Job DescriptionJob Description:POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for safe and prompt delivery of merchandise to all Les Schwab Tire Stores and Distribution Center. This position requires a heightened awareness of safety for self, team members, equipment, and the general public at all times; must be able to assess, manage and mitigate risk.$1,500 Sign On BonusPay Range: $29.40 - $31.20 per hourFREE medical insurance option for employeesDrive clean, late model tractor / trailer combinationsBe home almost every nightHourly payPaid hotel for occasional over-night runsLunch paid for by the CompanyPaid vacation and holidaysCash bonusesExcellent benefits and competitive payCompany paid retirement planMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Must meet all requirements to be eligible for sign on bonus.Valid Class A CDL with double and triple endorsementsMust be at least 21 years of age2 years driving experience preferredAbility to lift up to 70 poundsPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:60% - Ensure timely and safe delivery of product via tractor trailer combinationsAble to safely maneuver over various routes and terrains (including mountainous and metropolitan environments)Able to safely maneuver in all weather/road conditions20% - Un/load and reload product in the trailer, ensuring that the load is properly secured for safe travel10% - Complete trip required documentation, including but not limited to:Maintain accurate records for each delivery, including hours of serviceDaily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle condition inspectionAccurate data entry into on-board computer (OBC) system, as required5% - Maintain trucks/tractors in a clean and sanitary condition, including fuel and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF)5% - Other duties as assignedIf you have questions or would like more information, please call Ted Harris at 541-481-6360.Les Schwab Tire Centers is an equal opportunity employer.
