Key ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed cost analysis for manufacturing operations, including COGS, labor, and overhead. Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts for production, sales, and expenses. Perform variance analysis comparing actual financial performance to budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and trends. Prepare comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for management, highlighting key performance indicators and operational insights. Evaluate capital expenditure requests, performing ROI and payback period analyses for new equipment and facility investments. Analyze product profitability, pricing strategies, and customer segment performance to support strategic decision-making. Monitor and analyze inventory valuation, turns, and obsolescence to optimize working capital and minimize waste. Recommended QualificationsStrong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing variances. Proven experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting for production environments. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial and operational data extraction. Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and financial report generation. Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights into manufacturing operations. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools. Bonus QualificationsExperience with cost accounting principles in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365). Understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain, and production processes. Experience with capital expenditure analysis for plant and equipment investments. Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
