Warehouse PackerRyder is immediately hiring a permanent full time warehouse packer in Jurupa Valley, CAWarehouse positions pay weekly.Hourly pay $18.00 per hour.We want the right warehouse associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply chain environment with state of the art equipment.Products being handled: food product (granola, cereal, olives, flour, sugar, soy sauce etc.)Equipment: crown stand up reach trucks.We have all benefits other warehouse distribution facilities offer without the waitWarehouse positions pay each week.On the job paid training.Medical, dental, vision, 401 K etc. start at 30 days.Paid time off.401 K offers a company match.High valued stock at 15% employee discount.Employee discounts that save you money on tools, cars, hotels, electronics/appliances, cell phones, travel, and much more.Safety gear provided.Safety is always the first priority.State of the art equipment and caring leadership.We want you to join our family made up of proud women and men in supply chain who work alongside the many military reserve and veterans we hire everyday.EEO/AA/female/minority/disabled/veteran.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.One (1) year or more in related packer experience preferred.Work overtime as assigned.Ability to:Work independently and as member of a team.Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).Input data into the WMS computer system (s) in use.Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.Read, do basic mathematics in English for the purpose of safety, work instructions, policies, etc.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized with excellent time management skills.Detailed oriented with excellent follow-up practices.ResponsibilitiesRandomly check the expiration dates upon grabbing the LPK to deposit into cubes/buckets or when feeding bins and avoid leaving empty bins.Check that there is one bag per case of LPK.Randomly check that the Julian code is printed on each cube before they place the cubes in the KD's.Pack all the cubes at the end of production line.Clean the space assigned to the production line.Other duties as assigned.Ryder is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and drug free workplace.
