Engagement Financial AdvisorDeloitte's Engagement Financial Advisor (EFA) team is comprised of professionals specializing in Deloitte engagement economics & financial metrics, account operations and risk management. As a Financial Analyst, you will provide high-quality engagement financial management activities through all aspects of the full project life cycle. The EFA team's greatest value is in the understanding and application of engagement business and financial processes, both to individual projects and to client accounts.Work You'll DoPrepare budgets and forecasts to project and track financial metrics such as revenue, margin, expense, etc.Interact periodically with senior level internal, and sometimes external, clients to present various analyses, discuss recommendations and provide project financial adviceTrack expenditures and perform the client bill and receivable collection functionsPerform and manage project management office (PMO) functional tasks and perform day-to-day contract management activitiesUnderstand and utilize standard processes for project management, quality management, and risk managementContribute to the growth and development of the overall EFA team through participation in one or more practice initiativesConnect with your support network (Manager, Coach and On Boarding Advisor) on a monthly basisThe Ideal Candidate Will PossessStrong oral and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skillsIntermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsAbility to work effectively as a member of a teamAttention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentSkill in finding and solving problems with original ideasQualifications RequiredBachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience or Business degree in Finance, Accounting, Economic or related discipline and 2 years of relevant experienceMinimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office SuiteSolid understanding of fundamental accounting and finance principlesAbility to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveComfortable with a hybrid working schedule that includes working in the office at a minimum of one day per weekCandidates located within a commutable distance to one of the select locations available for this rolePreferredExperience working with a variety of contracting types (e.g., time and materials, fixed price) and billing scenariosExperience in a professional services firmExperience with MS Suite applicationsThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,200 to $121,800.
