You'll be:Preparing and shipping all outbound shipments including parcel, freight, and internationalProcessing outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx and other various shipping software and/or customer portalsUtilizing computer systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office software including email, word, excel.Preparing all outbound pallets for shipment including finishing, wrapping, and palletizing of productOperating powered industrial trucks including forklifts, powered jacks, etc.Accurately completing all necessary paperwork for all outbound shipmentsTaking calls and setup delivery appointments for all outbound shipmentsLoading and unloading delivery trucksFollowing DOT regulations and safety standardsAssisting Receiving as neededMaintaining a clean and safe environmentThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:Have a high school diploma or equivalentHave at least 2 years of experience with forklifts and working in shippingHave experience processing outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx and other shipping software and/or customer portalsHave intermediate knowledge of PC and database programs, including ERP systems, printing labels, word processing, excel spreadsheets, and OutlookHave effective verbal and written communication skillsHave the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally lift up to 65 lbs.Have the ability to move and position yourself to operate on, under, and around machines
