Join GSF and grow your career with a global food industry leader.About The RoleWe are hiring a Forklift Operator to support our Conyers facility's production and warehouse operations. This role operates a stand-up forklift and is responsible for material movement, inventory control, and supporting shipping and receiving activities. If you're safety-minded, organized, and experienced in forklift operations, we want to hear from you.What You'll Be DoingForklift Operation & Yard Support:Operate stand-up (and sit-down) lift trucks to move products, ingredients, and suppliesRead batch pick sheets and bills of lading to fulfill production and shipping needsLoad and unload materials from trucks and railcarsConnect/disconnect railcars and tankers to flow panels as neededSupport recycling, waste, and sustainability efforts in the yardInventory & Compliance:Maintain proper stock rotation and inventory documentation (FIFO)Clean up spills and maintain a safe, organized yard areaDocument daily tasks and activities per supervisor's instructionsFollow lockout/tagout and environmental safety proceduresPay & BenefitsBenefits Include:Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holiday paySafety gear and uniforms providedOn-the-job training and advancement opportunitiesWhat You'll NeedStand-up and/or sit-down forklift experience required (certification preferred)Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and work outdoors in variable conditionsAbility to read and understand shipping paperwork and safety instructionsStrong attention to safety, accuracy, and efficiencyWhat You'll GetPeople First: At GSF, we're not just a company; we're a dynamic community where your talents are celebrated, and your ambitions are nurtured.Values Driven: Our core values drive everything we do, creating a culture of innovation, integrity, and excellence.
