Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Broker to join our dedicated team. As a Junior Broker focused on the Latin America and Caribbean markets, you will play a crucial role in supporting senior brokers, analyzing risk, and facilitating the placement of reinsurance contracts. This position offers a unique opportunity for career growth within a dynamic environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        The candidate will contribute pro-actively to the handling and development of our current portfolio, as well as acquiring new relationships.

·        The candidate will be involved in processing all new business and renewals.

·        Assist in evaluating and assessing risks associated with insurance portfolios. Utilize analytical tools and financial models to provide insights into risk management strategies.

·        Daily tasks include liaison with clients and underwriters also will be preparing slips.

·        Prepare and review documentation related to reinsurance contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain organized records of client interactions and transactions.

 

Qualifications

·        At minimum a completed Bachelor’s Degree (preferable Business Administration, Marketing, Economics related, Finance related)

·        Understanding of reinsurance principles, insurance and risk concepts, and problem-solving skills.

·        Excellent Analytical, independent, pro-active and conceptually minded.

·        Candidates must have the ability to multi-task and have an excellent reputation in maintaining and developing client relationships.

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

·        Proficiency in Spanish and English.
