Position Overview: As a Web Developer III, you will be an integral part of our development team, responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of web-based applications in the financial domain, focusing on areas such as Payroll, AR, and Accounting. The role requires expertise in Java development, familiarity with various frameworks, and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities: Gather business requirements, analyze, code, and test web-based applications. Develop and maintain web applications utilizing Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring Framework, and other relevant technologies. Implement security measures for web applications and web services. Collaborate with team members and work independently to offer solutions for improving application performance and functionality. Participate in the migration of Java-based projects and ensure the integration of new technologies. Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals. Maintain effective communication and organizational skills. Qualifications: Minimum 7 years of IT experience, with 5+ years in J2EE development implementing web applications (Oracle 10g or higher as database). Strong expertise in frameworks like Struts 1.x, Spring Framework, JBoss Application Server, ANT scripting, Maven, and reporting tools such as Jasper Reports. Proficiency in Java scripting, XML technologies, and implementing SOAP and RESTful web services. Experience with version control tools like CVS and GIT, UNIX shell scripting, JUnit, and SUN Solaris. Preferred: Familiarity with JBoss Drools rule engine, micro-services architecture, design patterns, caching technologies, Angular JS, jQuery, Node.js, EAP 7.X performance tuning, and continuous integration/continuous delivery using Jenkins. Business background in Financials area (Payroll, AR, Accounting) is a plus. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field preferred.
