OverviewAdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for a dynamic and energetic Pediatric Hospitalists to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa in association with AdventHealth for Children/Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando. Expectations to perform pediatric admissions in our 15 bed, Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit Supporting ED pediatric consults, participate in daily family centered rounding Coverage in the Level 1 Newborn Nursery with the support of an Advanced Practice Provider Flexible schedule, approximately 14, 12hr shifts per month for a full-time pediatric hospitalist, which will include days, nights and weekends. 28 bed, Level 3 NICU on site with 24/7 Neonatologist coverage 5 bed, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit on site with intensivist coverage Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Medical Specialty support on siteAdventHealth Tampa has partnered with AdventHealth for Children with a vision to create and deliver high quality pediatric care elevating the local market and keeping kids close to home with a seamless connection to quaternary services. We started our comprehensive pediatric open heart program in 2012 and have a strong track record of positive outcomes. We also have several key destination programs including our level IV Epilepsy program, the regions only BMT and solid organ transplants including kidney and liver, and we increased Orlando area NICU beds to 150 total in 2017. Our unparalleled network consists of 30 hospitals across the state with one childrens hospital at the center totals over 23,000 births and several extremely successful pediatric subspecialty programs including outreach clinics.
