Vice President of Sales Taylon SkylightsPosition OverviewThe Vice President of Sales at Taylon Skylights is responsible for leading and scaling the company’s sales organization while driving profitable revenue growth across all markets. This executive role oversees national and regional sales efforts, key accounts, pricing strategy, forecasting, and market expansion for Taylon’s skylights, ventilating skylights, smoke vents, and fall protection systems.The VP of Sales will work closely with executive leadership to align sales strategy with manufacturing capacity, product development, and long-term company objectives. This role requires deep experience in construction materials, building products, or architectural sales.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & StrategyDevelop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share for Taylon SkylightsBuild, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales organization, including regional managers, territory sales representatives, and key account managersEstablish sales KPIs, performance metrics, and accountability systemsRevenue Growth & Market ExpansionDrive new business development across commercial, industrial, and architectural marketsExpand Taylon’s presence with contractors, roofing companies, distributors, architects, and specifying professionalsIdentify new geographic markets, channels, and product opportunitiesHire and build sales teamSales Operations & ForecastingOwn company-wide sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline managementPartner with operations and manufacturing to ensure accurate forecasting and on-time deliveryOptimize CRM systems, sales processes, and reporting to improve visibility and executionPricing, Contracts & NegotiationsOversee pricing strategy, margin management, and discount approvalLead or support negotiations on large or strategic customer contractsEnsure sales growth aligns with profitability and production capabilitiesCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Marketing on lead generation, branding, and go-to-market initiativesCollaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Service to deliver best-in-class customer experienceProvide regular executive reporting and strategic insights to ownership and leadershipQualifications10+ years of B2B sales experience with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership roleProven track record of growing revenue and building scalable sales teamsExperience in construction materials, skylights, roofing, glazing, building products, or architectural sales strongly preferredStrong understanding of contractor, distributor, and specification-driven sales modelsExcellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skillsBachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plusPreferred ExperienceLeading multi-region or national sales teamsWorking closely with manufacturing or made-to-order productsImplementing CRM systems and structured sales processesDriving growth in both existing and emerging marketsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive executive-level base salaryPerformance-based bonus and/or commissionLong-term incentive or equity participation (if applicable)Comprehensive benefits packagePaid time offWhy Join Taylon SkylightsWith over 55 years of manufacturing experience, Taylon Skylights is an industry leader known for innovation, quality, and reliability.
