Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Freelance Social Media Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of social media strategies across various platforms. This role will involve creating engaging content, managing social media accounts, and collaborating with team members to ensure brand consistency and effective communication.


Responsibilities:

Proposal Creation:

  • Collaborate with the team to develop comprehensive social media proposals for clients.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify key insights and trends in the social media landscape.
  • Craft compelling proposals that align with client objectives and target audience demographics.

Content Creation and Execution:

  • Generate creative ideas for social media content that resonate with the target audience.
  • Write engaging copy for social media posts, ensuring consistency with brand voice and messaging.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to produce high-quality visual content.
  • Schedule and publish social media posts across various platforms, optimizing for maximum reach and engagement.
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, responding promptly and appropriately.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the execution of social media campaigns from ideation to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Delegate tasks to an assistant, providing clear instructions and guidance as needed.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, adjusting strategies and tactics to optimize results.
  • Assist social team with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting documents.
  • Assist social team with scheduling and deployment of content across all social platforms.

Engagement and Relationship Building:

  • Update content calendars and ensure all assets & messaging are approved and aligned with company objectives and brand voice while being released in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Maintain confidentiality and understand the sensitive nature of our work in order to maintain brand integrity.



Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media management, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns and content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for crafting compelling copy.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in social media marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
