Warehouse Superintendent

Our client is a world leader in the manufacturing of various industrial plastics. We are seeking a Warehouse Superintendent for our facility near Bakersfield, California. The ideal candidate is responsible for managing all functions within the warehouse and will ensure the timely, accurate and cost-effective delivery of products to customers. 

Responsibilities

• Manage staff, lead internal efforts for best practices
• Supervise physical conditions of warehouse and equipment
• Conduct annual inventory
• Investigate causes of problems and lead corrective action
• Ensure all carriers comply with regulations and standards
• Interface with managers and personnel of other departments to assure customer satisfaction
• Manage flow of all materials in and out of warehouse
• Maintain all records

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years relevant management experience in warehousing, inventory control or materials management in a manufacturing environment
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, with strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of JDE
