Job at a Glance:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team as an Owner’s Representative for a leading entertainment client in Anaheim, CA. In this role, you will provide expert technical guidance and oversee civil engineering projects focused on wet utility, hydraulics, and hydrology. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects align with our client's long-term goals, especially concerning the planning and development of utility infrastructure systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Civil Engineer looking to take on a leadership role in capital planning and infrastructure projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Owner’s Representative, providing engineering oversight and direction to consultants on various civil projects.
  • Review hydrologic and hydraulic studies and offer recommendations for future project development.
  • Lead the development of equipment and construction specifications for wet utility and infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee utility system capital planning, including system capacity evaluations and end-of-life equipment replacement planning.
  • Provide expert reviews of contract documents and calculations, focusing on lift stations, treatment systems, and pipeline infrastructure.
  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex engineering challenges.
  • Mentor junior engineers and oversee the technical accuracy of their project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects align with budget, timeline, and design requirements.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on wet utility, hydraulics, and hydrology in municipal or consulting environments.
  • A current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of California is required.
  • Proven experience working on heavy civil engineering projects, including grading, land development, and the design/construction of underground utility systems.
  • Strong knowledge of civil utility system standards and codes.
  • Experience in construction administration and civil grading design.
  • Operational experience or background in standards development, plan review, and contract document evaluation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.S.).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS for data management and editing is a plus.
