Senior Director, Client LeadThe Senior Director, Client Lead will be responsible for cultivating strong client partnerships within the retail vertical, driving revenue growth, and delivering outstanding client experiences across Epsilon's data, tech, and media offeringswith a strong focus on retail media networks (RMNs). This role seeks a strategic problem-solver with outstanding business insight and strong leadership skills, developing effective solutions for retail clients. Critically, this role operates within a rigorous enterprise-level sales organization and reports to the Senior Vice President, Client Lead. This Senior Director role involves fostering positive client relationships and understanding their business goals and challenges. You will orchestrate the efforts of Client Developments, Sales Strategists, Solution Architects, Client Supporting Functions, and Account Management Teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive solutions are developed and delivered. This includes negotiating contracts and pricing, and developing and leading client success plans, contributing to Epsilon's overall success within the retail vertical.What You'll Achieve:Forge strategic partnerships with retail clients that result in significant revenue growth by developing and executing retail media strategies across Epsilon's data, tech, and media.Build long-term partnerships with key decision-makers across retail client organizations.Develop and implement strategic account plans that leverage retail media solutions to align with client's business objectives and growth targets.Drive measurable results: YOY growth, client retention, and account expansion.Develop customized solutions that demonstrably solve retail client challenges and drive measurable results.Drive cross-functional collaboration to develop and deliver solutions that leverage data, technology, and media to achieve company goals within the retail sector.Foster a collaborative team that consistently delivers outstanding client service to retail clients.Mentor and collaborate with Client Associates, contributing to their professional growth and development within the retail industry.Lead team performance through capability development, knowledge sharing, and innovation initiatives.Maintain pipeline coverage while achieving forecast accuracy.Champion and embody the company's vision and values in all interactions and initiatives related to retail clients.Who You Are:What You'll Bring With You:10+ years of proven success in enterprise sales within the retail industry, including a deep understanding of the retail media landscape, including strategy, analytics, media performance, and forecasting for retail media networks (RMNs).Demonstrated ability to develop new client relationships, understand client needs, and drive revenue growth by building a robust sales pipeline and exceeding targets.Expertise in Tech or Media sales, particularly with retail media platforms, translating complex technical solutions into business value and demonstrating ROI for retailers and their CPG partners.Strong intuition for business, critical thinking, and negotiation skills, including developing cases and financial models.Excellent communication and presentation skills, including communicating effectively to C-level executives.Confirmed ability to drive revenue growth, maintain high client satisfaction (85%+), and develop strategic partnerships.Track record of leading cross-functional teams, handling complex enterprise relationships, developing team capabilities, and fostering innovation.Strong understanding of data analytics, platform capabilities, performance optimization, ROI measurement, and campaign efficiency analysis.Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite).Bachelor's degree (advanced degree a plus).Why You Might Stand Out From Other Talent:Deep expertise within a specific retail vertical with quantifiable results demonstrating success in that niche.Demonstrated thought leadership in the tech/media space relevant to retail.Ability to translate complex data insights into compelling narratives that drive strategic decisions.History of building long-term, strategic partnerships with key retail clients, acting as a trusted advisor.Demonstrated ability to identify and solve critical business challenges for retail clients through innovative solutions, with quantifiable impact on their bottom line.Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively across different departments within retail organizations.Proven ability to influence C-level decisions, including negotiating major deals and providing strategic insights.Proven track record of rapidly understanding retail client landscapes and competitively addressing their needs.Demonstrated success in negotiating with key decision-makers and influencers at retail companies.History of contributing to roadmaps for client satisfaction, growth, and trust.Base Salary: $140,000 - $210,000 In addition to base salary, this role may be bonus or incentive compensation eligible. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon, but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location and application employment laws.
