Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk onsite in Pinellas Park, FL.Overview:This is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health diagnosis The company has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research.Benefits: 9 paid holidays per year 3 weeks of PTO per year (on top of holidays) PTO increases to 4 weeks/year after 2 years of employment, and then to 5 weeks/year after 5 years of employment Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance 401k matching Tuition reimbursement Continuing education, reimbursement for professional certifications, and qualified supervision Essential Job Functions: Prepare journal entries for month-end closing process Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts Assist in all audits by providing supporting documentation Provide back-up support in Accounts Payable and Payroll Skills High School diploma or GED equivalent required Minimum three (3) years of bookkeeping/general accounting experience required Knowledge of bookkeeping/general accounting Good organizational skills Computer proficiency required Ability to manage time and resources Ability to speak coherently and convey concepts Must have a valid driver's license or state ID card Essential Physical Skills: Ability to write accurately and legibly Ability to sit at a desk and view a display screen for extended periods of time Ability to bend, stoop and reach Ability to sit in meetings for extended periods of time Ability to move throughout program facilities both indoors and outdoors Ability to lift and carry 10 pounds Good hearing and vision The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
