Job Description

RISE Housing and Support Services has an opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team at our newest apartment building. A successful candidate will enjoy using there expertise to supplement the direct care and supportive services provided to the residents of the building.

RISE offers a Licensed Practical Nurse:

  • A starting base wage of $27 per hour
  • $1500 bonus after 6 months of employment
  • A generous time off package: In your 1st year, earn up to 6 weeks of vacation and holiday time, 3 weeks of combined sick and personal time, and a day off for your birthday Medical, Dental, Vision, and many other benefits

Overview of Job Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with medical needs, medication monitoring, and daily living skills
  • Assisting with admissions, discharges, and treatment planning
  • Acclimating residents to physical surroundings, program philosophy and expectations
  • Participating in crisis intervention
  • Complying with all relevant regulations governing the program

To qualify you must have:

  • NYS Licensed Practical Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
  • An ability to operate independently, think on your feet, and follow your training
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal boundaries
