We are looking for driven, collaborative, persistent, solution oriented people to launch our new endeavor in the Spine world. We have a unique ability to educate surgeons and that will be a main cornerstone to our success. We are searching for individuals that have experience with Spine surgical sales and it is preferable there is a current network within our Sales Geography (NYP- Columbia (NYC) through the Bronx, Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties w/ part of Fairfield)

As an Endoscopic Spine Specialist for Gotham Surgical representing Arthrex Inc., the employee's essential job functions include assisting in sales and technical support on products that include, but are not limited to the following categories: Arthrex Spine portfolio, subcutaneous fascia closure products, antibacterial wound healing and Biologics Bone and Blood products (allograft materials for bone substitution and augmentation, and Bone Marrow Concentrate and plasma rich protein products). The Endoscopic Spine Specialist will collaborate with Regional Management and report directly to the V.P. of Sales.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Ensure Gotham Surgical Sales Quota success in Endoscopic Spine

·      Serves as primary contact between Agency Management, Technology Consultants and Arthrex Accounts in regards to Endoscopic Spine.

·      Conducts Sales Calls with surgeons

·      Accompanies customers to Medical Education Events with Surgeons

·      Conducts Sales Strategy meetings with Regional Managers and VP of Sales

·      Collaborates with a wide variety of team members to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.

·      Produce competitive analysis materials comparing product with its key competitors

·      Identifies market potential, establishes pricing and market strategies, estimates potential sales, introduces market, distribution/channel issues, and manages the mature product through phase-out.

·      Maintains, strengthens, and/or expands existing relationships with selected accounts.

·      Develops, directs, coordinates, and monitors sales and financial plans with appropriate contacts (Regional Management, Agency Leadership, and Technology Consultants.)

·      Has or will obtain a thorough understanding of selected account sales history, surgeon customers, buying group affiliations, objectives, and structure.

·      Evaluates strategic opportunities with select accounts and outlines solutions in meetings with Agency Leadership and Arthrex National Accounts (when appropriate).

·      Reviews with Agency Leadership requests for account visits and schedules as appropriate.

·      Understands and knows relative Biologic products, spinal surgical procedures, and can speak knowledgeably with both account and surgeon customer in these areas.

·      Responsible for maintaining communication with the surgeon customers, healthcare facilities, vendors, and other personnel essential to the continued successful development of the products and their associated techniques.

·      Cross-sell additional products to better serve customers.

·      Attends industry meetings when appropriate.

·      Demonstrate effective organizational skills, not limited to, Inventory and Freight Management.

·      Ability to lift above 50 pounds.

·      Up to 15% travel required.


Qualifications

·      Bachelor's degree required, BS in Science Preferred

·      1-5 years of Spine sales.

·      Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic / neurosurgery market
