Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer II will be responsible for transitioning products from research and development into full-scale production, ensuring adherence to quality standards. This role involves establishing, validating, and maintaining consistent manufacturing processes, leveraging performance data to enhance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities.
  • Develop manufacturing processes.
  • Create, document, and qualify assembly and test fixtures.
  • Author and update manufacturing process documentation.
  • Meet validation requirements.
  • Drive process improvements for assigned products or processes.
  • Provide support to manufacturing to enhance production capabilities.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and assembly staff.
  • Work closely with R&D, Quality Engineering, and other teams to achieve organizational objectives.

Required Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in medical device manufacturing or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a significant advantage.
