Painters Needed Steady Work Year-RoundPerform painting functions for residential and commercial clients, specializing in both new construction and existing buildings. The majority of work involves interior walls, but also includes exterior painting. Projects are within a 40-mile radius of Milwaukee, utilizing brushes, rollers, and spray guns to apply various paint coatings to industrial and commercial facilities.Responsibilities:Perform painting tasks using brushes, rollers, and spray guns, specifically HPLV Airless Sprayers, on large industrial projects.Prepare surfaces accurately, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.Apply expert knowledge of different painting techniques and materials.Ensure smooth, even finishes with keen attention to detail.Follow safety procedures and use protective gear properly.Read and interpret blueprints or specifications for accurate project execution.Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.Adapt to working on ladders, scaffolding, or in tight spaces, requiring physical stamina and dexterity.Communicate effectively with clients and other contractors.Solve problems and adapt to unexpected challenges on the job.Essential Skills:1+ years of painting experience.1+ year of commercial painting experience.Proficiency in painting techniques, including airless spraying, brush and rolling, and cutting in without tape.Experience in job site prep work and clean up.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience with multi-family buildings.Experience with office environments.Effective communication skills.Problem-solving abilities.Why Work Here?Join one of the largest non-union painting companies that undertakes union-sized projects, offering a stable work environment with plenty of overtime opportunities.
