You'll provide autonomous and impartial assurance over the operational efficiency, risk management practices, and regulatory compliance of the company's processes and systems. As a team member, you will focus on delivering risk-based audits and insights that improve resilience, mitigate risk, and drive operational improvements.We are seeking a seasoned auditor with exceptional business judgment, proven risk and compliance expertise, and the ability to leverage data analytics as part of a modern audit toolkit. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, high-growth technology company. They bring skills to contribute to the development of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) practices within Internal Audit, applying data-driven approaches to enhance risk identification, assessment, and monitoring. You will autonomously manage the full lifecycle of audit engagements and interact with senior relevant parties.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) practices by applying data analytics to identify, assess, and monitor risks across the organization.Perform audits across key business functions and standards, using data analysis to identify risks and deliver actionable, data-driven recommendations while monitoring remediation through evidence-based validation.Leverage data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets, developing data-driven audit techniques and continuous monitoring routines to assess controls and support ongoing risk management.Design, execute, and report on risk-based audit plans by defining scope and goals, applying risk assessment techniques, and leveraging data analytics to guide focus areas and testing strategies.Collaborate with management to bring innovative data approaches to internal audit practices aligned with organizational goals.Stay current with regulatory changes and emerging trends in data privacy, cybersecurity, and audit analytics.Skills/CompetenciesBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, a related field or equivalent relevant experience.Professional certification such as CISA, CIA or being on track to complete any of these certifications.7+ years of internal audit experience, with proven expertise in applying data analytics to enhance audit effectiveness and familiarity with Enterprise Risk Management practices.Proficient with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Python/R). Skilled in applying critical thinking and problem-solving to extract meaningful insights from complex qualitative and quantitative datasets.Familiarity with Audit Standards as well as compliance and control frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 1/2, GDPR and others.Exceptional project management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Able to manage multiple priorities, extract meaningful insights from complex data, and drive continuous improvement.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with high attention to detail. Able to work autonomously or collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.Salary Range Transparency US Remote 72,000 - 108,000 USD per yearSalary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location.
