Mechanical Engineer Tasks:

  • Collaborate with customers to create detailed design plans and specifications for refrigeration and mechanical systems.
  • Use estimating software to provide budgets and detailed estimates.
  • Research and analyze efficient, cost-effective solutions for projects.
  • Evaluate existing systems and propose energy-efficient, sustainable improvements.
  • Develop 2D and 3D design layouts using CAD software.
  • Perform calculations and simulations to ensure system performance and reliability.
  • Communicate with clients, suppliers, and contractors to meet design requirements.
  • Hire subcontractors and order equipment for projects.
  • Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in refrigeration technology.


Mechanical Engineer Profile Musts:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the refrigeration industry
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) and other engineering tools
  • Solid experience assembling detailed budget/estimate
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Knowledge of refrigeration codes, standards, and regulations
  • Eagerness to collaborate in a team environment to continually create, maintain, and improve program libraries
  • Understanding of Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Clean driving record
