Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call • Practice Settings: Inpatient • Locations: Eureka, California Requirements: State License (CA) Board Eligible Start Date: May 20 2025 End Date: Ongoing Other Details: Locums- Anesthesia *Reopening to put fresh eyes on this need and to update start date* We still need 2 providers. Requirements for the bids in order to be accepted: Overtime hours must apply after 12 hrs. Guaranteed hours are 8. OT Policy: Overtime must be pre-approved by medical director by end of shift. *PROVIDERS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE CA LICENSE TO BE PRESENTED. IF WE FIND THEY DO NOT, NAME CLEAR WILL BE REVOKED. * Please note, the providers all work together and share the shifts but if they are not willing to do night/weekends that would make it very hard for our perms so please ensure providers are willing to do so. Primarily we need providers who would be willing to cover nights and weekends in addition to day shifts available. Please note that providers will not be thrown onto night shifts until they have worked a few weeks on the day shift with other physicians. Once comfortable then they will be scheduled nights. Shifts can vary the longest shift is 7a-7p and the shortest is 3p -11p. Call is beeper call and on weekends remote. We need providers that will do shift work and take call. Call on the weekends is the following shifts: - Weekend Day 1- 7a-7p (12hour guarantee) - Weekend Nights- 7p-7a (12hr on call, be within 30 mins of hospital) - Weekend Day 2- on call as backup for day and night shift person (may work 4 or 5 hours or none). If provider has a permanent CA DEA that is preferred but not required.
