Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst- Enhanced Program

Location: Mt. Joy, Pa

Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), full time and part time positions available in Lancaster, PA and surrounding areas.

What is the Enhanced IBHS Program (EP):

The Enhanced IBHS Program specializes in the assessment and treatment of assent withdrawal behaviors including aggression, self-injury, and property destruction.

Why Choose the Enhanced Program:

The Enhanced Program uses assent-based, compassionate care and trauma-informed approaches to decrease severe interfering behavior (aggression, self-injurious behavior) as a means of keeping clients in their homes and out of hospital/residential settings.

Each client is assessed using the Practical Functional Assessment/Skills Based Training as developed and researched by Dr. Greg Hanley.

Behavior Interventions is provided weekly consultation with Dr. Mashid Ghaemmaghami from FTF Consulting to develop on-going plans and to problem solve challenges for each of the clients in the Enhanced Program.

Opportunities to become PFA/SBT Level 4 certified with FTF Consulting.

Leadership team has PFA/SBT Level 4 Certified staff member for additional training and consultation.

Tier structure allows opportunities for increases in compensation. Salary ranges from approximately $80,000 to $100,000+ per year based on tier and number of billable hours.

Opportunity to work as a team. Each client is assigned 2 BCBAs to collaborate on programming across environments (home, center, community, school).

Smaller caseload size allows the clinician to provide intensive treatment to their clients.

About Us

Behavior Interventions has been a regional leader in ABA services for over fifteen years. We are dedicated to developing new and innovative practices to better support our families and seeking qualified clinicians to help us succeed in providing exceptional services in Behavioral Health.

The Enhanced Program serves families in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster and Lebanon counties in their homes, schools, communities and at our Elizabethtown, PA treatment center. This program offers opportunities for consultation from Dr. Hanleys FTF consulting group and training to conduct PFA/SBT programming.

We have created a collaborative and supportive environment for our Behavior Analysts to develop their behavior analytic skills. This includes regular individual supervision with our leadership team members, participation in team meetings, and opportunities to engage in behavior analytic research and discussion.

All of our Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) positions have a complete employment package for both full-time and part-time roles.

Responsibilities of our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs):

Provides behavioral assessment and intervention based on the science of behavior analysis to support families referred.

Maintains administrative and non-clinical functions to ensure continued success of families served, treatment team, employees and organization as a whole.

Engages in professional development activities and supports the professional development of Behavior Interventions team members through approved supervision activities.

Maintains appropriate written documentation of direct one-on-one intervention with the client and family, program development, and supervision activities in company practice management software (CentralReach) and provider-specific sites

Utilize the science of behavior-analysis to teach skills to individual clients, caregivers, other family members and to reduce problem behaviors

Collaborates with program team members; providing feedback, training and coaching on behavior-analytic strategies as appropriate

Qualifications of the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA):

BCBA certification

Behavior Specialist License

Experience developing and implementing ABA programs for children and adolescents

Experience working with significant challenging behaviors

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Willingness to see families in the evenings (2-4 nights/week), travel to meet with clients, and work in a variety of settings: home, school, community, and clinic

Maintains crisis intervention certification

Working Conditions:

Ability to move, ascend/descend, position self, transport while exerting 5-10 lbs constantly, 25 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Ability to move quickly to remain within arms reach of client(s)

Ability to meet the physical requirements to successfully complete the physical components of the crisis intervention certification and implementation of interventions during the workday:

Ability to balance physical movement

Ability to support the weight of an individual while moving (kneeling) to the ground and a capacity to sit and kneel in various positions

Ability to move from a kneeling position to standing without assistance approximately 5 times in one minute

Ability to travel within the counties of clients served within the program; reliable transportation

Ability to provide services in the evenings (2-4 nights per week between 3:00pm and 10:00pm) and weekends as needed (to be determined by BCBA and Supervisor)
