Senior Field Sales EngineerEaton's Electronics Division is seeking a senior field sales engineer to join our team. This role is based in the California area and focuses on electronics sales. If you're a motivated sales professional looking to grow your career within a dynamic global organization that offers advancement opportunities, we encourage you to apply todayWhat You'll Do: The primary function of technical sales engineer is to drive demand creation and share gain at the OEM and EMS accounts. Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and ability to design-in Eaton Electronics solutions. This position will be responsible for directly interfacing with OEM's and EMS's within the Americas in their assigned territory and strategic accounts.Design in Eaton Electronics solutions and increase Eaton share in the marketplaceYou will be assigned a territory based on significance to the company and their strategic accountsYou will partner with regional sales director and regional sales manager for strategic directionYou will spend the majority of your time at key accounts (within driving range)You will independently develop and implement action plans targeted at YOY growth and agreed performance levelsYou will make recommendations to management regarding potential challenges or issues on a case-by-case basis, offering solutions and pro-actively scheduling sales callsQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institutionMinimum 3 years of experience in electronics sales or technical sellingPossess valid driver's licenseCandidates must currently reside in the California territory no relocation will be provided for this role. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitationPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution5 years within electronics sales and technical selling5 years in an outside sales or field application roleSkills: Electronics circuitry, design and application experience Self-driven, accountable, passionate, charismatic communicator, problem solverThe compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $116,438.00 - $170,775.00. Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Eaton provides various health and welfare benefits as well as retirement benefits, and several programs that provide for paid and unpaid time away from work.
