Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.   • Operates a reactor utilizing a computerized control system to ensure the proper chemical reactions and requirements occur; follows appropriate batch ticket and operational procedures.
  • Stages, prepares, lifts, and loads raw materials and other components required for the production process; will also utilize a computerized or automatic process to perform tasks.
  • Monitors and adjusts gauges, valves, switches, pumps, and other components according to production requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment and efficient operations; may require the employee to wear safety equipment or gear.
  • Completes appropriate paperwork and/or enters data regarding materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and other operations to ensure records and actions are accurate.
  • Assists with maintaining a clean and safe working environment and may perform various janitorial or housekeeping tasks.
  • Communicates with maintenance, quality control, warehousing, and other departments to maintain a safe and effective environment and to ensure quality products.
  • Prepares and/or performs quality control analysis, testing, and review to ensure adherence to standards and parameters.
  • May operate a variety of computerized, manual, and mechanical equipment to mix, fill, unload, label, pack, and store working-progress and finished goods.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have at one (1) years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have at least two (2) years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience monitoring gauges, dials, or other machinery indicators to ensure proper operation of machinery
