Function:
Provide nursing and medical services to the residents of the Childrens Residential Treatment Facility.
Serves as a member of an organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing and medical services to residents.
Provide education regarding prescribed medication and medical treatment to residents, families, and staff.
Document in the progress notes the provision of care and the clinical and behavioral observations of residents, using the electronic health record
Administer and document medications adhering to state and program guidelines.
Provide emergency medical care as needed.
Receive and transcribe medical and medication orders and add medications to the electronic prescribing program
Qualifications:
BSN, RN. WA State Registered Nurse. One-year work experience with children and/or adolescents. Experience or knowledge of psychotropic medications. Psychiatric experience, child development, milieu treatment, crisis intervention, and individual, group, and family counseling experience.
Current CPR certification.
Valid Washington State drivers license; proof of insurance.
Schedule: We are currently filling positions for all shifts. We may be able to accommodate 12-hour, 10-hour, or weekend double shifts. Days and hours to be determinedprior to interview.
