Skills Required:

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Good proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and experience with manual database testing
  • Extensive experience with Cypress, MABL, and other JavaScript-based automation tools
  • Solid understanding of DOM structure, HTML, and CSS
  • Proficiency in test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Jest)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Axios) and performance testing concepts
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and WCAG guidelines
  • Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems (JIRA, TestRail)
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and cross-browser testing principles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using JavaScript-based tools (Cypress, MABL) and BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
  • Create end-to-end, integration, and unit tests for web applications
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
  • Perform API and performance testing to ensure backend service integrity
  • Conduct cross-browser, responsive design, and accessibility testing
  • Implement automated accessibility checks using appropriate tools and guidelines
  • Analyze test results, identify bugs, and collaborate on issue resolution
  • Maintain test documentation and participate in code reviews
  • Explore and implement new testing tools and methodologies
  • Monitor test metrics to improve testing efficiency
  • Mentor team members in automation and accessibility testing best practices
  • Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to process improvements


Nice to Have:

  • Understanding of health insurance, employee benefits, and HCM technology
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, ACA)
  • Knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) standards and processes
  • Experience with enrollment systems and benefits administration workflows
  • Familiarity with retirement plans and wealth management concepts
  • Experience working with large datasets typical in health and benefits industries
  • Knowledge of plan administration processes and systems
  • Familiarity with LIMRA standards and other industry-specific protocols
  • Awareness of regulatory compliance requirements in the health and benefits sector
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
  • Familiarity with insurance industry terminology and concepts
  • Familiarity with 401(k) plans and retirement benefits
