CTG is seeking to fill a Java Backend Developer position for our client in Phoenix, AZ.Duration: 12 months Duties: Develop and maintain backend APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Vert.x. Build microservices and integrations with Apache Camel, Kafka, and REST APIs. Work with databases (Couchbase, Oracle, Redis, NoSQL) and design DB architectures. Support CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes/OpenShift. Monitor and optimize applications with Dynatrace. Collaborate on performance testing and QA using JMeter, JUnit, and Postman. Maintain and enhance systems including GNST, MT, NRD, NTR, and related systems. Skills & Experience: 4+ years of Java backend API development. Strong Vert.x experience. Experience with GNST and 1+ year with MT, NRD, NTR, or similar systems. Proficient with Spring, Spring Boot, GraphQL, CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Hadoop/HDFS, API development, and monitoring tools. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
