This job is part of the Legal Services job function. They are responsible for providing legal counsel and guidance in the ordinary and special activities of the organization. What You'll Do: Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) work. Transactional legal matters. Contract negotiation and drafting. Project management in a legal or corporate setting. Works under general direction of a senior attorney in the conduct of day-to-day duties. Researches legal principles and precedents, consults with outside counsel, drafts/revises legal documents, and gathers relevant information using multiple sources and methods. Responsible for handling ordinary course and complex matters and projects which may have a material financial impact on business activities and operations. Provides legal counsel and guidance to managers, market leaders, executives and other employees on legal aspects of the Company's various business lines. May provide training and direction to other legal professionals, paraprofessionals and support staff in developing solutions to issues presented.
