Hiring: Cybersecurity Project Manager (Technology Risk & Compliance)Location: hybrid/Bolingbrook, ILRole: Project Manager – Cybersecurity & Technology RiskWe’re seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead and deliver enterprise-level technology risk, security, and compliance initiatives for a large, well-established retail organization.This role is ideal for a PM who has successfully managed risk assessments, control remediation, IAM governance, vulnerability remediation, and audit-driven initiatives in a structured PMO environment.This is not a hands-on cybersecurity role. It is a delivery, governance, and coordination role focused on ensuring security and risk projects are executed properly and are audit-ready.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity and technology risk initiativesOwn the full project lifecycle: kickoff, planning, execution, governance, and closeoutDevelop and maintain project plans, milestones, schedules, and risk logsFacilitate project meetings, design walkthroughs, and risk & control reviewsProvide weekly and bi-weekly project status updates highlighting risks, control gaps, and remediation progressPartner with Portfolio Managers on resource and capacity forecastingEnsure compliance with PMO standards, documentation requirements, gate reviews, and change controlCoordinate with IT Risk Management (ITRM), Audit, Compliance, and Architecture teamsTrack and maintain governance artifacts, remediation evidence, and validation documentationSupport rollout planning, implementation coordination, and post-implementation lessons learnedMust-Have QualificationsExperience managing cybersecurity, technology risk, audit, or compliance projectsStrong understanding of:Risk assessmentsControl remediationVulnerability managementIAM governanceRegulatory / audit-driven initiativesProven project management experience across the full lifecycleExperience working within a PMO-governed enterprise environmentStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to translate technical risk into business impactNice-to-HaveExperience with Planview PPMFamiliarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO)Experience in large enterprise or regulated environmentsPMP or similar certificationIf you’re a Project Manager with a strong background in cybersecurity and technology risk delivery, we’d love to connect, please apply.
