We're on the lookout for a Civil CAD Designer with a strong background in Land Planning. This isn't your typical CAD Design or Civil Engineering position. We’re interested in candidates who excel in designing and drafting plans specifically for land development projects, both residential and commercial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce detailed plans for residential and commercial land development projects.
  • Apply and maintain AutoCAD drafting standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and planning teams to create innovative site solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Extensive experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, including expertise in Hydraflow Storm Sewers Extension and Hydraflow Hydrology Analysis software, with a focus on storm and sanitary sewer networks and profiles.
  • Solid experience in land development design and permitting, especially for multi-family and residential projects, with some exposure to commercial work.
  • Skilled in producing 2D plan sets for municipal review, incorporating local ordinances and regulations.
  • Experienced in creating Civil 3D models and surfaces, including volume surfaces and earthwork analysis. Familiarity with feature lines and building models is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in AutoCAD standards, CAD file/data management, and storage procedures.
  • Competent with Office 365 applications, particularly Excel.
  • Eager to learn and adapt new techniques to enhance software use and workflow efficiency.
  • Bonus: Experience in roadway design, including stationing and labeling standards.
