Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role located in Park Ridge, NJ for a Summer Camp Nurse at Build Yourself Up: Youth Development Services LLC. The Summer Camp Nurse will be responsible for providing medical care, first aid, and emergency response for campers and staff. They will also oversee the administration of medications, maintain health records, and communicate with parents and healthcare providers as needed. THIS IS A PAID POSITION


Qualifications

  • Valid nursing license and current CPR certification
  • Experience in pediatric or camp nursing is preferred
  • Knowledge of common childhood illnesses, injuries, and medications
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with camp staff, parents, and healthcare providers
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
