Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for personal injury law, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to client service. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for handling a caseload of personal injury cases from inception through resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, engaging in discovery, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury cases.
- Conduct client interviews and provide legal advice.
- Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
- Engage in discovery, including depositions and interrogatories.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
- Represent clients in court hearings and trials.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to provide comprehensive legal services.
- Stay informed about developments in personal injury law and maintain professional competency through continuous education and training.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Texas State Bar and in good standing.
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism, ethics, and client service orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
