Position Overview:

As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities for high-end restaurant projects. You will ensure that each project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Your expertise in managing the unique challenges of restaurant construction will be essential in delivering outstanding results for our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, material delivery, and subcontractor management.

- Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

- Oversee the daily operations of the construction site, including managing labor, equipment, and materials.

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.

- Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.

- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or changes.

- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, schedules, and progress reports.


Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent with a focus on high-end restaurant projects.

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations specific to restaurant construction.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of subcontractors and laborers.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and project specifications.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions to keep projects on track.

- Proficient in construction management software and tools.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working on high-end restaurant projects in urban or highly trafficked areas.

- Understanding of the unique requirements of restaurant construction, including kitchen installations, HVAC systems, and custom finishes.

- OSHA certification or other relevant safety training.
