Marketing Specialist

This position is located in our Festus, MO office - qualified candidates must be able to commute to this office location daily.

The Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the success of our key business units by assisting with multi-channel marketing initiatives from conception to execution. This role will report directly to the Marketing Manager and collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to achieve strategic objectives.

Primary Position Responsibilities

·        Tradeshow and Events Management: Coordinate tradeshow and events across all business units from registration to on-site set-up and attendee communications.

·        Subject Matter Expertise: Assist in developing in-depth knowledge of assigned business units, including products, target markets, competitive landscape, and industry trends.

·        Marketing Strategies: Support the development and execution of comprehensive product marketing strategies to drive demand, generate leads, and achieve sales targets.

·        Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Sales, and Customer Service, to help define product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.

·        Marketing Collateral: Assist in creating compelling marketing collateral, including product presentations, sales materials, case studies, and website content, to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products.

·        Information Management: Ensure all marketing channels and sales collateral feature the most up-to-date information and accurately represent current brand guidelines.

·        Campaign Execution: Help plan and execute product launches, promotions, and campaigns to drive awareness and adoption of new products and features.

·        Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and initiatives and assist in making data-driven recommendations for optimization.

·        Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and challenges for our business.

Position Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred

·        Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing is required

·        An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

·        Proven ability to assist in developing and executing successful marketing strategies that  

·        drive business results.

·        Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and assist in making data-driven decisions.

·        Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences.

·        Strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

·        Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across functions and levels of the organization.

·        Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.

·        Expert in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing automation tools.

·        Must have the ability to work around large construction and railway equipment and machinery.

Physical Demands:

This position will spend the majority of time in an office environment and will require some moving about the office as well as lifting and carrying. This would require the ability to lift boxes containing marketing materials and move them around the office. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. This position may require walking primarily on a level surface for periods of time as well as reaching above shoulder heights or below the waist or lifting up to 25 pounds as required to store materials throughout the workday. There will be time in field, both visiting product in action as well as attending trade shows throughout the Country.
