Your role as a Senior Software Engineer (full-stack) will be critical. You'll be part of a dynamic team where your ability to innovate with creativity, passion, and technical prowess will bring to life engaging user experiences, leverage machine learning, advance cloud engineering, and apply thorough data analysis. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining and elevating our edge in the industry, championing the financial health and success of all of our clients.


What You'll Do:

  • Drive our continued success by delivering unparalleled solutions for our customers.
  • Innovate machine learning solutions to enhance our core platform.
  • Prepare our platform for exponential growth through enhancements to our agile processes and cloud architecture.
  • Mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and practices to enhance team skills and cohesion.
  • Provide insights and improvements to our architecture and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement new features and improvements based on user feedback and business goals.



Requirements:

  • This is a hybrid role with 4 days on-site at the Kendall Square office
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, masters preferred.
  • Experience developing and integrating AI/ML solutions.
  • 10-15 years of experience in Software Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in Web Application Development.
  • Proven proficiency in Javascript, CSS, and HTML.
  • 5 years of experience in Web Service Development with at least 2 years using Go.
  • 5 years of experience with SQL.
  • 2 years of experience with AWS (specifically EKS, RDB, and EC2).
  • 2 years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Mastery of fundamental networking concepts (HTTP, DNS, High Availability).
  • Experience with Git and GitHub.
  • Datalign has a strong culture of communication through writing. We request a writing sample at the time of your application.



Other Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Multi-zone deployments in AWS.
  • Experience with Helm.
  • Devops Experience.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency with Terraform.
  • Familiarity with Testify for Go.
  • Experience or certification as a ScrumMaster.
