HR GeneralistWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of HR operations, compliance, and employee lifecycle management. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth HR processes, supporting employee engagement, and maintaining compliance with employment laws and company policies. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about delivering excellent HR service, we'd love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and manage onboarding and offboarding processes.Assist with payroll audits and employee payroll-related inquiries.Support benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee questions.Track and document leave of absences (FMLA, ADA, etc.).Maintain and update the HRIS system (Paycom preferred) and employee records.Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, supporting audit preparation and reporting.Process personnel and compensation changes and draft related communications.Support employee relations and workplace investigations.Assist with compensation benchmarking and annual cycle planning.Prepare HR metrics and reports, including headcount and turnover data.Maintain the HR SharePoint site and distribute HR communications.Contribute to policy development, process documentation, and HR projects (including M& A integration).Track and manage workers' compensation claims and follow-ups.Provide occasional support to Payroll and Recruiting functions.Qualifications:Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.3-5 years of HR Generalist experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and SharePoint).Experience with HRIS platforms such as Paycom, Paylocity, or BambooHR.Solid understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.Preferred Qualifications: HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR).Experience with Paycom HRIS and payroll modules.Prior experience in financial services or professional services industries.Core Competencies:Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Clear and professional communication style.Adaptability and ability to thrive in a changing environment.Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
