Position: Quality Control Technician


Shift: 12 HOURS


Location: Arlington, TX



Overview: To ensure constant quality monitoring during production. Responsible for maintaining continuous product quality during production and guide workflow by monitoring packaging work force‘s quality inspections and packaging process. Performs quality inspections at regularly prescribed intervals and documents accordingly across multiple production lines. Helps employees in the department perform their duties correctly. Helps team operate at or above designated run speeds.



Essential Functions and Responsibilities



  • Perform and document hourly inspections and run profile, retain samples per EverTec Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
  • Monitor mailer production, including packaging, for defects and inaccuracies per EverTec quality standards; correct and report any non-conformities and initiate hold procedure when needed
  • Train Packers on EverTec Quality Assurance (QA) SOP; regularly conduct audits to ensure quality inspections are being performed
  • Work with Packaging Coordinators and Operations to resolve issues per EverTec QA SOP
  • Communicate effectively with upcoming shift to ensure smooth handoff; keep open dialogue with staff to minimize delays


  • Help to identify raw material defects, captures relevant information (lot codes, samples, etc.) and forward to Quality Manager
