JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Analyst is a full-time position that is responsible for providing accurate monthly production allocations comprised of data entry and data interface uploads of monthly oil, gas and water data. Reconciliation of monthly data and records retention. Submission of production to State Agencies, which currently consist of East Texas based assets. Assist with daily allocations and troubleshooting errors that occur. Build and maintain delivery systems in database for daily and monthly allocations based on field generated flow diagrams.

Interface with personnel as need, Field Foreman, Pumpers, Regulatory Analyst and Land group. {The role will be based in Kilgore, TX but will require some travel to Houston to collaborate with corporate personnel as needed.}


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monthly Analysis and Reporting: Review of monthly production reporting including reconciliation of monthly production to third party statements, analysis vs. trends and expectations, identification of anomalies and coordination with operations personnel to address changes that may be needed

  • Build and maintain delivery systems supporting daily and monthly production allocations
  • Conduct production reporting to state and federal agencies, currently assets are East Texas based and report to the Texas RRC, PR reports
  • Read and interpret field flow diagrams required
  • Conduct verifications for liquid run tickets to statements
  • Prepare and submit Surface Commingle Permits P-17 and associated flow diagrams
  • Assist with Daily Production Analysis: Provide assistance with resolving daily allocation errors.
  • Assist with filing miscellaneous Texas reports such as W-10, G-10, R-3, H-10, P-18
  • Assist with building and maintain field personnel routes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal policies and controls
  • Other duties as assigned by management


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Texas production reporting experience required
  • Minimum four (4) years production accounting experience required
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated, ability to work with limited supervision
  • Strong math skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with commercial production accounting software (Enertia experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with commercial field data gathering software (FDG, FDM, TOW, eVIN experience preferred)


EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:

  • Associates or Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or Business preferred or four (4) years of related experience
