Key Responsibilities:

Utilization Review: Conduct utilization review activities to evaluate the appropriateness, necessity, and efficiency of healthcare services. Analyze utilization patterns, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend strategies to optimize resource utilization and reduce costs.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and assess the quality of care provided by healthcare facilities and providers. Implement quality improvement initiatives, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Licensure: Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state or jurisdiction.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related field may be required for certain roles.
Experience: Prior clinical experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a variety of healthcare settings. Experience in healthcare administration, education, research, or quality improvement is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis, project management, and computer applications commonly used in healthcare settings.
