This role oversees the entire data lifecycle from receipt, validation to quality control, reconciliation, and transfer, ensuring all imaging data received from global research centers is in compliance with trial-specific protocols and regulatory requirements. Tasks include controlling and moving data through a quality assurance program while tracking and resolving data quality issues, performing reconciliation, imaging data reconstruction and processing and ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and trial-specific guidelines, maintaining accurate documentation, and engaging in ongoing communication with internal teams and external stakeholders such as clinical sites and sponsors. This position is critical to optimizing the quality of imaging data received globally and plays a key role in enabling reliable eligibility assessments and downstream analyses that support successful clinical trial outcomes. Key Responsibilities Imaging Data Review: Receive and validate, imaging data from various modalities, including but not limited to MRI, CT, SPECT, PET, and DEXA. Perform image quality control checks to ensure compliance with protocol specifications and imaging charters. Ensure compliance with trial-specific protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards. Process and reconstruct imaging data in alignment with protocol parameters. Prepare images for review and analysis using specialized imaging software. Site support: Assist with the setup, qualification, and ongoing support of imaging sites, ensuring readiness for subject image acquisition and transfer, as well as adherence to protocol compliance. Provide ongoing training and technical support to site personnel on imaging protocols and data submission procedures. Monitor site compliance with imaging requirements throughout the study lifecycle. Data Management & Validation: Validate incoming imaging data and ensure accurate metadata entry into the imaging database. Maintain and update imaging databases, ensuring traceability and audit readiness. Track and manage image queries, discrepancies, and resolutions in collaboration with sites and internal teams. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation throughout all stages of the imaging data workflow Manages the preparation and transfer of large image-based data files between sites and sponsors Client & Protocol Alignment: Interpret and implement client-specific imaging charters and study protocols. Ensure imaging deliverables align with client expectations and regulatory requirements. Participate in client meetings and provide updates on imaging data status and issues. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, radiologists, data managers, and regulatory teams. Support imaging endpoint analysis and contribute to imaging reports and documentation. Assist in the development and review of SOPs, work instructions, and imaging guidelines. Others Any other Medical Imaging activities that are required in the team Functional Competencies (Technical knowledge/Skills) Medical Imaging Proficiency: Skilled in PET, SPECT, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, CT, and other modalities; familiar with DICOM standards and imaging software. Image Quality Control: Demonstrates strong attention to detail when reviewing and validating imaging data, with a consistent commitment to data quality and integrity. Clinical Trial Knowledge: Understanding of imaging protocols, charters, and regulatory requirements. Site Support: Effective communication with investigator sites for training, setup, and issue resolution. Data Management: Experience in handling imaging databases and resolving data queries. Technical Tools: Familiar with image transfer platforms and PACS systems. Analytical Thinking: Problem-solving skills for imaging discrepancies and technical issues. Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines efficiently. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Process-focused mindset to ensure consistent and efficient execution of internal procedures Experience, Education, and Certifications Preferred: Certified medical imaging technologist (e.g., NMTCB, ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine, PET, MRI, and/or CT or a Bachelor of Science degree in a related field Experience with imaging modalities such as PET, SPECT, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, and CT is preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external research centers Proficient computer skills, with the ability to navigate various applications and systems. This role is remote. Candidates located in following states: AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, MA, MO, NH, NJ, NC, PA, VT, VA are preferred. The annual base salary range for this role is $51,139- $94-973. This range represents the anticipated initial annual salary and will vary depending on several factors including the candidate's experience and skills as well as market rate adjustment.
