Firmware Validation Engineer

Looking for highly motivated validation engineers with background in firmware development, integration, and validation in embedded systems. Owns coordination, Integration, validation (including validation environment), and debugging of system software specifically in BMC domains within a server architecture.


Qualification

  • BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in design/development, integration, validation, or system level debugging in embedded systems
  • Excellent working knowledge of baseboard management controller (BMC)
  • Experience working on Server systems.
  • Create validation plans, develop test content, automate executions, and debug/triage of observed/reported failures
  • Proficient in Python
  • Experience in PowerShell scripting
  • Robot Framework Automation or Other Test Automation Tools
  • Strong problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills and Lab support.
  • Very strong technical aptitude with quick learning ability and excellent communication skills


Preferred Skills


  • Some knowledge of embedded processors/microcontrollers
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills
