To be successful in this role, you should have the ability to multitask and work independentlyAbout the RoleThe Legal Operations Analyst on the Global Legal Operations team primarily provides e-billing litigation support for matters and reporting. They assist in preparing and coordinating Legal's Preferred Firm Program business reviews, as well as activities related to global legal fiscal budget planning. Additionally, they develop, manage, and report on key metrics for the legal operations budget, spend, and preferred firm activities. This role will work directly with the legal operations team, reporting to the Senior Director. It will also support the global legal team and our internal business groups to improve efficiency, identify cost-saving opportunities, and assess technology. The team aims to develop innovative problem-solving methods and to facilitate contracting with outside counsel and vendors (subscriptions), as needed. We advise and collaborate with Oracle business leaders and external specialists on complex, industry-leading legal operations issues, technology, efficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.ResponsibilitiesEncouraged tasks include, not limited to:Outside Counsel Spend/Preferred Firm ProgramDevelop and/or maintain preferred firm matrix.Prepare and/or review vendor performance metrics.Monitor preferred firms' master engagements and renewals.Outside Counsel/Preferred Firm Program reporting, reconciliation, documentation creation, dashboards, and reporting.Budget, Forecasting, and AccrualsDevelop, manage, and report on key metrics. Reports may include oral and/or written presentations for Legal Operations staff or executive management.Collaborate across departments such as Finance, Tax, Real Estate, and Facilities.Support key initiatives to enhance Oracle's business, improve efficiencies, and achieve cost savings.Drive knowledge management and sharing activities.Support the onboarding, training, and group activities of the team.Assist with team updates and preparation of presentation and training materials.Preferred QualificationsBA/BS degree and 4 years of related experience. Analytical person (not just an issue spotter) with a creative and innovative approach, combined with strong decision-making skills. Ability to perform in a fast-paced and continually evolving business environment. Excellent writing, analysis, and verbal communication. Expert skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Possess a professional and friendly demeanor, confident, and innovative. Organized, meticulous, and strong time management skills. Do you problem-solve, taking both strategic and more practical considerations into account? Able to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
